Meet the Mediflora clinical team
Mediflora is led by Chief Medical Officer Dr James Slade and a team of AHPRA-registered Australian doctors, a Nurse Practitioner and nursing staff. Care is doctor-led and whole-person — delivered by telehealth across Australia and in person in Byron Bay.

Chief Medical Officer & Authorised Prescriber · AHPRA-registered
Canadian-born, Byron Bay-based. Dr Slade holds an MBBS (James Cook University) and a BSc (Hons) in Kinesiology (Brock University, Canada). He founded Mediflora to build doctor-led, whole-person care around the things patients said were missing elsewhere: time, listening and structured follow-up. He oversees clinical standards across the clinic.

An AHPRA-registered Nurse Practitioner supporting assessment and ongoing patient care. Anna has many years experience in natural therapies, individualised care plans.
